MUXTAPE : a fabulously simple and slick social music sharing site
So back in HS, I’d exchange real mixtapes with friends. I was introduced to Muxtape through a buddy who made an awesome mix for me. Very cool. I hear it also works on the iPhone (don’t have one to try it on though).

So I found Fluid actually via Muxtape. There’s a little app for Muxtape that allows you to browse through all of the featured Muxtapes through Coverflow. Fluid allows you to create Site Specific Browsers (SSBs), which makes for a very special internet browsing experience.

Why be an advocate?
Because good ideas deserve to be recognized and good design should be impossible to ignore. Because in this message-muddled world, there are still some lines that can catch my eye and win me over. Because the world has never been changed by indifference. Because there are people, places, products and punchlines that have inspired me- and could very likely inspire you too. ChaCha’s pretty old. Can’t believe they’re still around with all the people messing with the guides. Makes sense that they’re targeting mobile phone users now.

I signed up for muxtape and then realized I had to upload all the songs myself. Who has time for that? It would’ve been the best thing since sliced bread if you could select from songs already on the site.
