If the web is turning 2.0, why aren’t browsers? Well, one is. I just bumped into Flock today and decided to try it out, as I seemed to have fit all of its symptoms. Am I a shareaholic? Yes. Do I always want to be connected? Yes. Will I appreciate drag and drop uploading and instant publishing features? Absolutely.

Flock is tied into 19+ online services including my favorites: Facebook, Flickr, Gmail, YouTube, and WordPress (my own blog). It allows you to multi-task the multi-tasking. It keeps you informed of all updates everywhere. Granted that this baby 1.2 version can be refined, but it’s still quite good as a browser tailored to my extreme-digital browsing and communicating behavior. Definitely not suited for everyone. Simple folks who have trouble navigating Google should NOT attempt to use this…
